Çevrimiçi oyunlardaki sorunlu oyuncularla savaşmak için geliştirilen yeni bir yapay zekâ, ilk altı hafta içerisinde Counter Strike: Global Offensive’de 20 bin oyuncuyu engelledi. Yapay zekâ, oyunun sohbet bölümündeki mesajları analiz ederek bu işlemi gerçekleştirdi.
Minerva adı verilen bu yapay zekâ, çevrimiçi oyun platformu FACEIT’in Google Cloud ve Jigsaw ile işbirliği yapmasıyla geliştirildi. Minerva, CS:GO sohbet mesajlarını Ağustos ayında incelemeye başladı. İlk bir buçuk ayında 7 milyon sorunlu mesaj belirledi, 90 bin uyarı yapıldı ve 20 bin oyuncu engellendi.
Makine öğrenmesi ile eğitilen yapay zekâ, sözlü tacizlerde ilk olarak uyarıyor. Minerva, maçın bitiminden birkaç saniye sonra saldırgan tavırlar sergileyen oyuncuya bir uyarı ya da engelleme bildirimi gönderiyor. Saldırgan tavırlar devam ederse alınan ceza da büyüyor.
Yapay zekâ sisteminin kullanımda olduğu Ağustos, Eylül ayları arasında gönderilen saldırgan mesajlarda ’lik bir azalma gözlemlendi. Saldırgan mesajlar gönderen kullanıcı sayısı ise %8’lik bir azalma yaşadı.
Bu sistemin ilk denemesi yanlış pozitiflerin aylarca boyunca elenmesinden sonra gerçekleştirildi. Ayrıca bu, Minerva’nın çevrimiçi oyunlardaki ilk uygulaması olarak gösterildi. FACEIT, yayınladığı blog yazısında oyun içi sohbetlerin hedeflenmesini Minerva uygulamalarından ilki ve en basiti olarak bahsetti. Ayrıca önümüzdeki haftalarda Minerva’nın eğitimi destekleyecek yeni sistemlerin duyurusunun yapılacağı da ifade edildi.
